Boom boom boom
I'm really loving io9 now - just today I saw a few pics of explosive goodness:
The Navy's Explosive Super Weapon Crushes Speed Records
When Nano-Wires Explode
Massive Detonation Leaves A Permanent Scar
On a separate note, I just finished FFXII: Revenant Wings and I am quite disappointed. I usually like most game endings, but for some reason this one was unsatisfactory. And it doesn't help that the gameplay was kind of annoying as you're essentially playing RTS on a tiny TINY screen with dumb AI (pathing to be exact, and no HOLD - wtf is an rts with no hold? stupid units running around...) Ah well, I guess I expected a better ending due to the barely tolerable gameplay. Hit up their site for some gameplay footage if you want. They do also have some nice artwork on the site.

I gave Revenant Wings a try, but the interface is so clunky and awkward. Also, the gameplay seems pretty shallow as well. I don't think I'll finish it...
Hehe, yeah, they tried to make the combat based on a paper rock scissor system, but it was really pointless. Also, when u've maxed out on units, omg, chunk galore... I dunno if I want to lvl up chars just to play the last two bonus levels... much rather play some more colors...
